1. Franklin Officer-Involved Shooting Results in Death of Man

News around 6:15 this evening, Franklin police got a report requesting a welfare check at the Artessa Apartments in the Cool Springs neighbourhood of Franklin-Holiday Crime-Prevention Safety Reminders From Franklin Police - Nashville Parent
Police were informed by a lady who described herself as an ex-girlfriend that her ex-boyfriend was making suicide threats and possessed a gun. The guy emerged from his flat armed with a revolver as police arrived on the scene. In an instant, officers acted in self-defense, injuring the guy.
The police provided help right away and made an emergency call.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away, Vanderbilt.
The Franklin Police were unharmed. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been alerted, and they will conduct an investigation in accordance with State law and departmental policy.

3. Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Assistance in Tracking Down Suspect in Serious Assault

 On Friday, July 24, at about 1:30 pm, deputies were called to a possible road rage incident with a firearm on Horton Highway close to Interstate 840 in Triune, Tennessee-VIDEO: WilCo deputy dragged by intoxicated driver, suspect charged | WOAI
In the vicinity of Arno Road, the victim reported travelling east on Murfreesboro Road. While trying to pass them in a construction zone, the driver of a white Ford pickup truck hit multiple traffic cones.
They were being pursued by the suspect as they travelled on Horton Highway close to Interstate 840 and Murfreesboro Road. The victim said the driver of the white Ford pickup truck opened fire with a pistol as they were turning to enter Interstate 840’s eastbound lanes. One of the bullets fired landed on the victim’s car.

4. Dogstar, a Keanu Reeves band, will perform in Nashville

Keanu Reeves, Rob Mailhouse, and Bret Domrose make up the trio Dogstar-

5. Opening of a New Brunch Place in Spring Hill

There is a new brunch establishment in Spring Hill-
In the old Juice Bar in Spring Hill, The Brunch Collective is currently operational. The new brunch restaurant, which is located at 412 McLemore, is now doing a soft launch rather than an official opening. They communicated, “Come say hello! A menu with a variety of toasts—from avocado toast to berry toast—topped with strawberries, whipped mascarpone cheese, and herbs—was uploaded on social media.
French toast, waffles, breakfast burritos, and breakfast bagel sandwiches may also be found on the menu. If you’re a sucker for sweets, try the homemade cinnamon buns and cookies prepared with organic flour and raw sugar.
The jalapeño Caesar salad on the menu contains a kale and romaine mixture, spicy croutons, chopped apples, parmesan cheese, and a jalapeno dressing. It is one of three salads on the menu. The salad dressings are all homemade on-site.
